With other products that provide the same class of protection and durability I don't see any benefit of choosing this case over a different brand . Other cases are similarly tested for durability and most have the same lp68 rating. I recommend shopping around

Although the Home button is covered, my phone had no issues recognizing my Touch ID. I have dropped my phone numerous times since putting on the OtterBox Defender case, and both my phone and the case are still in perfect condition.
