While the rubber port covers can be a little stiff at first on a brand-new case, after some time and use, they should start to relax and move more comfortably. Also when attached to my belt I find that it is somewhat difficult to remove especially when sitting down. I sometimes remove and keep phone handy.

Over time these particles made permanent scratches on my screen around the edges. I would recommend a case with no built in screen protector.

We're so sorry for any frustration with the Defender Series. Our Defender Series case will offer dust protection, but isn't completely dust and debris proof. If you're looking to use a case and a separate screen protection, we recommend picking up the Commuter Series and the Alpha Glass or Amplify. The Commuter Series is a two-piece case that features a silicone layer that goes around the iPhone and a hard plastic shell that goes on top of that. It features port covers to keep dust and debris out of your phone's ports. The Alpha Glass and Amplify are completely compatible with this case for premium screen protection.
