The built in clear plastic screen protector significantly reduces the tactile feel with the touch screen and with mine I was constantly finding dust and other small particles getting trapped inside. Much better off getting the Otterbox one grade below this on the protection spectrum and applying a separate screen protector right on the screen. I love OtterBox usually, just not this particular model.

Thanks for your feedback regarding the Defender Pro Series. The product offers dust protection, but it isn't completely dust proof. If you'd like to use a tough case with a separate screen protector, we suggest taking a look at the Pursuit Series, which can be found right here at Best Buy! This is our toughest case yet and it can be paired with one of our screen protectors, Amplify or Alpha Glass. Feel free to contact us through our website with any further questions or comments.
