The only negative regarding functionality is that the plastic screen cover constrains some of the touch typing, for instance, I have to try 5-6 times to get it to take a "space" when typing email or text.

We're sorry to hear about your disappointment with the absence of the vanity window on your Defender Series Pro! That case is designed to be compatible with the iPhone 7, 8, and SE 2nd Gen. Since the new iPhone SE 2nd Gen has the Apple Logo located slightly lower, we determined it was best to remove the window entirely to allow our customers with the iPhone 7 and 8 access to the newest colors and designs.
