For years, I have always bought OtterBox defender cases for my phones because of the high quality material, design, and protection of the device. I have dropped my phone with the case on and it has protected my phone every time. Worth every penny!

Great case. Have had on phone since the day the phone was bought. Has protected against everything for everyday drops to being fully submerged to falling out of pockets in a variety of environments. More than worth the money.

With all the data stored on my iPhone 7 related to my personal, work, and daily activities, I cannot afford an interruption of service due to damage or breakage. This is no ordinary phone, it is a thousand dollar phone on steroids, 256 MB and 5GB memory.I have dropped the phone in mountainous terrain, gotten caught in snowstorms and rain, been subjected to intense heat in an auto body painting oven, and even dropped the phone for a New York minute into the Charles River (the bacteria alone should have killed the phone). But this case stood up to all of it for 5 years (I at first used it on my iPhone 6). I am only buying a replacement case because the original case just physically wore out at the side where it snaps onto my holster, causing the phone to fall off my belt suddenly. When I went to the Apple Store for programming help 5 years ago, all the techs used this Otter Defender Series themselves.

I love otter box phone cases. They always protect my phone and especially my sons phones. They are rougher on them then me. Protects it from breaking the screen and I have at my older age dropped my phone a lot more.

This case has done exactly what I needed it to do. I am in construction and need good protection on the job site. It gets dropped and bumped more than it should but the phone is still going strong.

Got this for my dad he works in construction and would always mess up his phone without this case! Now his phone has been safe and damage free! Love this product especially if you are somewhere where your phone can get dirty or damaged easy.

Not a fan of all the cell phone manufactures going to their all glass (front and back) design. Purchased this to protect grand-daughters new iPhone SE. Perfect fit, does not add a 'bulky' feel to the phone and adds great protection.

An Apple store employee sent me to Best Buy because they don’t carry iPhone protective cases as sturdy as these Otter boxes. There was only one option for an SE, and it is ugly. if I were reviewing the employee, he would get a good score for walking me to the correct shelf, and terrible customer service points for expressing distain, claiming the phone I bought at Apple an hour before wasn’t made anymore. They do make it and I still prefer the SE’s size and its price. As for this case, I have already dropped mine a few times in a few weeks and proven it worked. I now own one of the prettiest phones ever made, surrounded by one of the ugliest cases ever made. It might be good theft prevention. The belt clip is badly designed. I guess they assume that people wearing phones on belt clips and people caring about style are mutually exclusive. Women’s clothes often lack pockets, so sometimes I need that feature. There are three things wrong with the belt clip part of the case: it doesn’t detach as easily as it could, it covers the entire phone back, so it blocks the camera, and the phone faces forward, instead of toward the wearer— for privacy. Unclipping the phone to take a quick photo requires a few extra seconds to remove the clip case as well. It’s baffling that anyone can design a product so awkward. Didn’t anyone try it out? It is also more expensive than its materials would suggest. But I was leaving on a trip the next day, and it’s serving its main purpose.

I bought this same case for our 1st generation iPhone SE phones, and when we upgraded to the 2nd generation iPhone SE I bought us these cases again. The case works really well, seems to protect the phone from normal wear and tear. My only complaint is that the hard plastic portion is very hard to take off once it's on. The locking mechanisms do a really good job keeping the case on the phone, and it can be frustrating to try and get off.

Very satisfied with the product. Second generation is much better but the first gen completely proved it self after dropping my phone from second story commercial building to the cement sidewalk and nothing was wrong with the phone.

Seems very sturdy for my son which is definitely needed for an outdoor kid always on the go

What I've come to expect from Otterbox, a rugged case that protects my phone. It fits my 2020 SE great, and all the buttons are still responsive. I like the built-in screen protector that will avoid scratches and smudges. It won't work with a Qi charger, but if I need to charge it while needing headphones, I guess there's always wireless earbuds. I don't mind the bulk the Otterbox adds because it's easy to hold this phone.

Like most products it’s only as good as its backers. Well, let me tell you OtterBox backs up their stuff better than anyone. All you simply need to do is call OtterBox give them your info pay for shipping and handling and they will send you another case if and when you wear this one out, it doesn’t get any better than that.

This is perfect for my husband’s IPhone! He is a bit active, so this gives great protection. This is his second otter, and he is very pleased that it was still available after a number of years. Very durable.

This is a great case for my phone. Easy to push the buttons. Grips well in my hand. It also provides the best shock protection from dropping.
