Along with the glass protector shield this has saved me from numerous drops which would have damaged the phone's screen can also use it in the rain without worry.

We bought this for our sons first phone. It has kept it safe and clean. If you’re skipping the phone insurance, I would highly recommend...it is kind of bulky though
