I drop my phone quite often - I have never had any damage to my phone(s) - I do not think the commuter is as secure thus why it is priced lower. The defender has more protection

My son had the previous version of the case for 3 years and we just bought a new one. It’s great for kids and protects the phone very well.

The best part is that it fits in your pocket and provides a clip. The shock absorber rubberized casing is also grip friendly. Never any fog or delay while using the touch screen.

keeps the phone in good shape and also makes the phone easier to hold. I always get the Defender for every new iPhone. When I got my new phone at Best Buy, They put it in the case right there.

This is my first Otter Box case I've purchased and I'm convinced I should've been using this brand from the start. Protective and good looking and easy to put on and take off.

Very protective case. Would have been nice to have instructions. Had to watch a video online how to get it apart to put phone in, but otherwise it seems super strong!

Got this for my son’s phone and works perfectly and keeps it safe while he is rough and drops it. The holster does make it nice for when he is out and about for clipping inside his pocket.

My brother recommended OtterBox - Defender Series Pro Modular Case (w/ the addition of a tempered glass screen protector) to me. A couple of summers ago he was riding a high speed rollercoaster @ Disney World & his work phone ended up being flung off the ride. After the phone was recovered & returned to him about a week later it appeared to be trashed. Once he removed the OtterBox & additional (now smashed) tempered glass screen protector his device survived w/o a mark on its original casing or screen! In this day & age an iPhone (even used &/or refurbished) is an expensive investment. Protect it!!

This was recommended by the salesman at Best Buy, and I got a great deal on it as well. It is very tough, and I feel like a really good protector for the new phone. I also like the lifetime warranty.

The OtterBox hard shell case for my Apple iPhone 7 SE is very durable (3rd one I have had as I do construction work) and it looks very nice as well. I purchased it on sale at Best Buy, so the price wasn't bad either!
