I had this type of OtterBox for many years and it finally wore out. It had protected my iPhone for a number of years thru some rough handling but as the rubber edges and flap for charging wore out it started to collect particles inside. I have had an otterbox case on another phone for a few years and I can tell you they are the BEST! I have dropped my phone a few times and no damage, that's NO DAMAGE, If you dont want to be paying a ton of money to replace your phone , get an otterbox and protect it ! I bought this one as a gift for my son, he is a young guy and wants to be cool with no case on his phone, after breaking several phones being cool he now realizes that being cool is saving money that he can spend on hair gel or mirrors. I recommend this phone without reservation.
