I bought this case for an iphone 7. Even though these are notorius for collecting dust in the case no matter how sealed it is, it has prevented my phone from cracking after dropping it several times. Have and always will buy otter boxes for my phones and the warranty is great.

This is my second Otterbox Defender series case and I'm glad I found them years ago. The Defender is a hard case with your actual phone buried inside several layers of protection. If you're prone to dropping your phone, being clumsy, or just on a run of bad luck, this is the case for you.

Best case on the market, had one for my iPhone 6 and though I’m clumsy and I drop my phone often, I have never had a phone break or even a screen crack in one.

I bought it for my grandson. He is always dropping his phone. He had one that was only a year old and looked like it went thru a war but the phone is in good shape.
