The actual phone case seems a bit less substantial also. I take care of my phone, so no wear-and-tear so far. Be aware, if you must use your "Mag Charger", it probably will not work. Otter sells other cases, if that is important.

Also, it is extremely difficult to fit the phone into the case. My screen protector is now loose, and has air holes as a result. Now I must purchase new screen protectors; I and unsure in the ability to install a new one without any problems.

They must of made some changes from the original design. I owned another one of these for a few years until I accidently broke it. I purchased a new one and the new one is less reliable. The older one i could clip to my waste and go trail riding and never worry about the phone. With the new one the phone falls out of the clip just from steping out of my truck. It doesnt stay locked in the clip very well. I thought it was a faulty item so I returned it but the new case was just the same. Phone would fall out with slightess bump. If this is new dsesign then they should go back to the original.

Poor fitting holster

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Otter box used to be the best case going in this instance they have really cheapened up the holster it doesn’t fit the phone securely and it is made way thinner than previous model which I have had many of them before. In order to make it fit securely I had to heat the top retaining part and bend it down.

Best Tough Phone Case

I have arthritic hands and back issues. I have dropped my phone several times but this case has saved the drop and phone. I would not use any other case than this one.

The casing is a perfect fit but if I did not have a screen protector my phone would have cracked on the first day due to the holster not holding the phone securely.

When you use the holster, to use the phone, chances are it will fall out. To make it work, I had to add a couple strips of thick tape to tighten it up.

First time I ever return an otter box. I wouldn’t recommend buying this if you have a screen protector on your phone

BAD Decision! The phone has fallen out of this holster more times in the two weeks I have owned it than the total times for all other phones and holsters over the last 7 years. I am not talking about rigorous action or activity (like running, jumping, climbing, etc), I am talking about getting up from a chair and out of the car! I thought the first i got was defective so I took it back after a couple days and got a new one....no change! A huge disappointment. Poor design -- the holster is not deep enough for the phone to sit securely in it.

They do their job for about two years, then things like the silicone sleeve expands. Or hard case part cracks. But for those two years it’s fantastic.
