Posted .Our apologies for the confusion, but it is correct that the Defender Series Pro case does not include a screen protector. The online images are actually depicting the device display rather than a screen protector, but since a screen protector is clear, we can certainly appreciate how you'd have been thrown off a bit.

I like the fact the case no longer comes with a pre-installed screen protector because it doesn’t get grimy or cloudy like the previous generation model. It’s protective and sleek. The clip comes in handy when I’m watching tv on my phone or to use it as a stand for the Standoff feature. I also got it on sale for $25. Can’t beat the price and protection. Great value.

I’ve had it for the iPhone 13 Pro, the 13 Pro Max, and now the iPhone 17 Pro Max — and it’s super sturdy. I work in construction, so my phone takes a beating, but this case holds up great. Back in the day, I used a different model, but it wasn’t as tight, and over time the movement caused tiny scratches or a sort of “polishing” effect on the phone itself. That doesn’t happen with this one, which I really appreciate. The 17 Pro Max version is another story, though — I just wish it protected the entire back of the phone. Still, it’s a solid case overall

The design is sleek and not as bulky as other protective cases. The raised edges help protect the screen and camera. The protection is top-tier without feeling ridiculously bulky, the grip is excellent, and the port covers do a great job keeping dust out. It has already survived a few accidental drops without a scratch on my phone. Wireless charging still works, and the included holster is a nice bonus. If protecting your iPhone matters more than showing it off, this case is an easy 5-star pick.

I had purchased another case that was see through so I could admire the purple color of my IPhone! But after far too many drops to the floor and cracking the back of my phone, I had to head on back to Otto Boxes! I mean it isn’t fancy but it sure keeps my phone safe and me from doing a claim for another phone!

A few times, a bad fall has damaged the Otterbox, but NEVER has my iPhone gotten damaged. This latest purchase was when a drop damaged my 3 year old Otterbox so it wouldn't stay clipped in the belt harness. But the phone is just fine!
