I have never(well almost) worried if damage occurred. I thought about a 4 star because I wish they had this version with a slightly slicker back. Sometimes it grabs sliding into my pants pocket. I wouldnt trade it for another though.

I do wish it had a built in screen protector like otter box used to have.
