Otterbox Defender has served many of my phones well. So I bought the Defender again for my new phone. Same great case but the new button is exposed and makes holding the phone awkward.

I have used the defender series case for years on all of my phones. It's grip and drop protection are unmatched. However, the totally exposed edge design due to the camera button cut out is totally unacceptable. This was probably some design committee vote that went wrong. All over the web you see this concern met with the following same old feel-good robotic, boiler plate corporate responses from Otterbox: The new and improved designed cases work seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated. Please give our Customer Service Team a call, or reach out to us via chat, and we are happy to help with any other questions or concerns you may have. The problem is they CAN'T help with this concern without a redesign of this case. There are numerous other case providers who DO provide appropriate protection for this camera button but Otterbox is apparently leveraging their years long reputation and loyalty without addressing this. Very sad to see because this one is a no-brainer. You can't call your case a "defender" when you have so much exposed raw phone left undefended. It is not only about "drop-protection", but also about edge protection. You do not have to drop this phone at all to incur damage with this case. Your phone can simply bump or slide with nominal contact to do damage. Please do better Otterbox and fix this lazy design.

A very durable case for my phone, followed a YouTube video to ensure I installed the case correctly. The USB-C connector is covered by the rubber piece, that requires flipping the rubber piece to open, but protects the connector from dust.

Sturdy, reliable, and fits perfectly—my OtterBox case has taken every drop like a champ. Worth it for the peace of mind alone.

Been using all the box cases for 15 more years and you just can’t beat them. Also, the warranty with these are awesome if something happens to your case, Otterbox will give you another one for 6.99.

It is very different from the defenders. I used to buy. I’m kind miss the belt clip, which didn’t came in this one. It looks kind of weird with this open for the camera button.

Great case, unfortunately it has an opening on the front and I've already damaged the screen protector on my phone. May be more of a design flaw on apple's behalf since the opening has functionality/features.

Some time i ried to buy cover for my phone, they always break. But when i change it to otterbox, i have never change it again, evenwhen i drop my phone, its aways secured. Good i found this product!!
