Case seems good, but doesn’t reliably allow wireless charging. Had to take case off to charge, otherwise it charged intermittently.

The cut out in the front will lead to your skin roughing the screen when using it one handed. It makes it nearly impossible to swipe back while this is happening. Otterbox dropped the ball by not putting a full surround on the front of this phone. Also, where the cutout goes behind the camera button does not clip in well at all and is loose 24/7. This case is a waste of money.

I have run OtterBox cases for over 15 years, and this is the only one I’ve ever returned. This case doesn’t protect your screen. After a week I realized my screen protector was smashed, the new button for the camera caused OB to apparently decide to just leave a blank space on the side. Now the screen is exposed where that button is, and if you’re like me you’ll learn why that’s a bad thing quickly. Terrible design, apple cases don’t have this empty spot. Not sure why a dedicated case company can’t figure it out.

Absolutely a poor design . My phone fell off car magnet , fell 6” and my zag screen saver cracked . So much for their drop test . The sides are not high enough to protest sides of phone. This happened week after I purchased it . It will be going back to store . Junk

Ive used the defender models on several phones in the past,….GREAT protection all around …UNTIL NOW!! The front bezel is now almost level with the screen…so really it offers very little protection for the screen edge……which is probably the most vulnerable part of the phone. Its a very strange part of the design to delete since it was the reason so many use that particular model. So im very dissappointed in this newest version for the iphone 16 pro

I have used Otterbox since the iPhone 4S. They’ve always provided complete protection until now. Whether it was lack of collaboration with Apple or just engineering, this year’s defender pro has issues that lack confidence in the brand. Number 1 has to be the camera control button protection. There is none. A full inch on the most sensitive part of the phone is unprotected. The gap in this area creates another issue. For right handed individuals, it’s impossible to find a comfortable grip in the left hand. I can grip in my right hand, but that forces me to use my non dominant hand to type and swipe. Ive had the case for 1 week and dread picking up my phone every time. I expected more from a $65 case. I’ll be using my $7 ESR case which is superior to this. OtterBox is not recommended.

New case is very thin. Not near as robust and beefy as the otter box defender of the past. Camera lenses practically sit flush with outside of case so finger prints all over lens from talking on phone all the time resulting in blurry pictures. Cutout for camera is odd. Side zoom doesn’t work to often on iPhone anyways. Would have liked a simple button push and forget about the slide zoom on button with finger.

Works well for what it’s for. I don’t like the flimsy silicone back. Plastic is much sturdier.

The cover for the charging cord is difficult to open

The edges catch in my pocket, the cutout for the camera button makes the case hard to hold, I liked their case on my previous 14 pro much better

havent had two weeks and cracked the cover on my iphone

The design and quality is poor on iphone 16 pro defender case. I returned mine for refund.
