Good phone protection

I especially like the Defender. It adds weight and bulk, but I want the added protection. The clip on the snap-on outer case is nice to securely hold the phone. Good corner protection. Otterbox defender cases have provided very good protection for my phones. Expensive, but worth it considering the cost of a phone.

Good case for protection

The issue will all model defender cases is over time the rubber stretches out and gets loose so it will need replaced after a year to 1.5 years. The rubber rubs when put in and out of pants pockets over time. The plastic around the device clips together and is very sturdy under the rubber. I never use the belt clip as I carry in pocket or purse. I have used the defender for years on multiple model devices. Yeah the rubber layer wears out, but I'm also rough on stuff so I need a durable case. I wish it came in brighter or fun colors but I buy it to not break versus be cute.
