Lots of layers of protection for the back of the phone. But I'm suspicious of how the front/glass part of the phone will have protection. The height/depth of the lip in lower along the longer sides/edges of the case. It's also a pain to take off the case with having to first pry off one of the layers; then having to unhook the notches around the case. If it were higher and the same as along the top and bottom edges, I would rate at least a four out of five.
