It's a good case but the rubber doesn't even last 6 months before it becomes all loose. There is no known fix for it so I had to spend this huge (for a cellphone case) amount of money yet again. What I don't like about it is that it's very big and yet, when taken apart it's extremely flimsy and, as I mentioned before, the rubber part stretched out very quickly and couldn't be fixed. Keep it out of the sun, don't use alcohol to disinfect it, don't put it in hot water and it may last you about 6 months or so.

Posted .Sorry to hear you've had some trouble with the outer slipcover of your original Defender Series case. Had you any cause to continually remove and re-install your S22 Ultra? That's the only thing that comes to mind of how something like this might have occurred. It was also disappointing to learn that you struggled to get the Otter support you were looking for. We actually have a great warranty to help with replacement cases, except for under a very few circumstances. I dropped it and the hard plastic snapped. Which resulted in the back of my phone cracking like glass. The metal backs of the s22ultra must be just weakest point.

However, this case scratched the side of my phone so much. It has never left the case and it has really damaged the frame
