I opened the case today to see specs of missing color from the entire border of my new phone. The case must have rubbed the finish from the mid frame. Phone has never been dropped and I refused to open the OEM packaging until I had my Otterbox Defender Pro, Whitestone Dome glass screen protector and camera lens protectors. Huge downgrade in quality since my Note 9 Defender Pro.

We specifically designed this case to be seamlessly compatible with the unique features of your exact device, so the case itself shouldn't damage the device in any way. Is there a chance some dirt or debris got caught inside your case leading to this result? We do recommend the occasional case cleaning with warm water and mild soap to keep things fresh and clean.
