However, it started showing signs of tear after 1 year. I expected it to last more. Also, requires effort to put on and take off.

This one is much faster and up to date and I am happy to have switched (though forced to do so) to the new version.

Did some research and found out otterbox was top of the line when it came with phones being indestructible. Had it for about a month and very pleased so far.

I work out side and I have to take my phone case apart every other day to clean the dust and debri out of it.

Excellent protection factor, but a little bulky.

Great case robust holster clip (swivels 360 degrees) but the bulkyness makes it a little cumbersome. There are a lot of cases I prefer but none with a holster / belt clip. That was my deciding factor. I have to have the belt clip.

The plastic inner and the rubber outer shell. Directions weren't great. Only real drawback is getting it into the belt clip holder, needs to go in and snap or falls out.
