The only thing keeping him from loving it is that the camera plate area is open, which makes him a little worried about it getting scratched. He did find a protective plate on Amazon that he can order to use with the case, so that helps ease the concern.

Other than that, the case gets slick kind if quick.

The case doesn’t cover the camera plateau just inviting dirt to collect along the edges and scratches the collect on the surface. I now have a case for half the price that completely covers the camera plateau.

The product is not as durable and is definitely more slippery to hold. The belt clip/holster is not included in the case and you have to order it for free from otterbox. I did get it a week or so later. Unfortunately the new holster/clip is weak. The phone falls out of the clip frequently. The glass screen protector I put on the phone has been broken several times (10+) because of this problem. The older case and clip combinations used to hold the phone in much better, It wouldn’t fall out from just brushing up against something or if you were just walking. I would not recommend anyone that is on the move use this case. Also the MagSafe attachment doesn’t work well.

It has no scratch resistance. Day one it scratched just from me wiping the smudges away. That’s another thing, the smudges are always there. The camera lenses are left exposed. You’re spending your hard earned money buying a name. A name that is not worth what it used to be.
