I have always purchased the Defender Series for my iPhones and it has served me well over the years. I have two minor complaints about this model. 1. In previous versions, the mute switch was covered by a little door (similar to the one for the lightning port) for dust protection. This model does not have that door and the mute switch is open and that area does collect dust. 2. The holster used to come standard with the case but is now a separate purchase. It is nice to see they reduced the price of the case since now the holster is not included but if you purchase both, you end up paying more than before when it was included.
