After having this otterbox defender case for 2 months, I have a better feel for the product. The greatest advantage is that the plastic cover feels sturdy and has a built in space for your pencil. However, you won't be able to put a silicone pencil cap if you choose to store your pencil in your case. A small disadvantage is that the iPad will need to be separated from its hard shell cover in order to charge the device.
