Sturdy quality case with handy integrated stand

It has an integrated stand that snaps onto the case so that it is always with me. Haven't put it to the test yet (thankfully) but it seems quite capable of protecting against any drops.

We're very sorry that the iPad 5 Defender isn't exactly what you're looking for! We do recommend using cases with their specific compatible devices, mainly because they are intentionally designed to protect that product. So, unfortunately, we would not recommend using the iPad Pro 9.7" Defender on the iPad 5th Generation. At the moment, we only have black Defender cases for the iPad 5, but we're consistently evaluating different design options, and we'll be happy to pass along your feedback.
