Fits perfect over the entire Apple 9.7 I Pad. Fully protected and no worries. Maybe a little bulky but isn’t that what you’re willing to sacrifice for complete protection on a pricey toy. Otter Box you can’t beat it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Along with not being compatible with the iPad "Auto Lock/Unlock" feature, the outside protective case is very difficult to pull off, especially with one hand. I owned the same "Defender" style case for the first iPad with Retina and the front case was easily removed with one hand along with utilizing the capability of "Auto Lock/Unlock" . Since this case cannot capitalize either one of these issues, I am returning this case as soon as possible. Finally, I would not recommend this product if you wish to use the iPad quickly and efficiently.

We are truly sorry that this Defender case is somehow interfering with the Auto Lock/Unlock feature and that the shield stand is being a bit stubborn. The Auto Lock problem is highly unusual as our cases are designed to work seamlessly with their device and none of the iPad’s functions should be hindered.
Although the shield stand should be secure so it can properly help protect your device it should not be a hassle to remove. If you still have the case we will be more than happy to get these abnormal difficulties resolved as soon as possible.

Didn't live up to its name
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My son is nonverbal and relies on his iPad to communicate. We rely on the otterbox to protect his voice. Well it failed. He dropped it in the car and the case didn't protect it. The iPad shattered.
