Not too bulky and I feel safe with the phone in the case and looks great

My initial impression when reading other reviews of this phone case was that the screen cover was going to require a lot of pressure when typing or swiping the screen but that has not been the case for me which was one of the reasons I hesitated before buying the case. I have been super careful with my phone and managed to get by many months with out any incident.The day after I purchased and put the Otterbox defender case on my Galaxy S7 edge, I had a few things in my hand and my phone some how fell pretty hard onto my driveway face down and the top layer screen cover took the brunt of the force and got a nice gash in it, but the case did its job and protected my screen. In my opinion it was money well spent on the Otterbox defender. I would also like to add for those of you who are bothered by finger prints on your screen this case is a finger print magnet.

The case fits perfectly on phone and protects the phone from damage

This case is a great case for someone that wants to protect their phone in fairly rugged conditions. It has 360 protection and fits the S7 edges shape perfectly. The only reason I did not give the case 5 stars is because it impacts the sensitivity of the touch screen due to the large plastic screen cover. I've noticed that I have to tap with a bit more force than normal. It takes a bit to get used to it.

Great case with built-in screen protector. It looks and feels of very high quality. It form fits my phone perfectly. Alignment is spot-on with all buttons, and openings (speaker/microphone/camera), and the screen protector fits flush over the screen. The two rubber covers over the microUSB and headphone inputs fit nicely as well. The case has good padding on the corners. They are raised up, so if the phone is laid flat screen down, it does not touch the surface. If I did not know there was a screen protector, I could not tell the difference. It feels silky smooth and responsive. Perhaps the only place you'll notice a "smidge" of a difference, is right at the top when doing a swipe-down to get at notifications. A slightly firmer swipe works. I can live with that knowing my phone is protected. Don't bother with the included installation instructions. Go to youtube and watch a video on how to. It's not difficult.

When I first got my new phone last year, I bought a case that featured a stand with the belt clip. The stand broke within 6 months, and unfortunately, the case didn't protect the glass covering my rear camera. And the screen protector I bought didn't last all that long. My previous Otter case (for another Samsung) was a bit bulky, which was a concern. I was pleasantly surprised with the slim design for the S7 Edge. Plus the Otter's clear plastic screen protects my front glass wonderfully. As a bonus, it seems there's more protection on the back to prevent busting my camera again. I should have trusted the Otter case first. It could have saved me $200 from having to replace the back glass, camera, and phone case.

TL;DR The case protects the hardware very well. You may have to tap multiple times or harder to get a response from the touchscreen. A minor inconvenience at times, and others really annoying (like when trying quickly access something, change screens during a call, etc.) The case fits correctly, and the whole screen is visible. Some swiping and tapping functions are delayed or non-responsive because of the plastic. I had to buy this new phone because my Galaxy Note 3 broke when I dropped it. I had the Note 3 for 2 years and dropped it at least 8 times with an Otter box on it, and never had an issues with it. I took the Otterbox off and dropped it once, and the screen busted. Never again. I will always keep the Otterbox on my phones, even if I have to deal with random touch screen responsiveness issues. Better to have an issue with the screen than no screen at all. Good product.

I feel that my S 7 Edge should be safe if dropped but that feature makes the use of the phone somewhat awkward. Additional pressure is needed to use "touch" features. Clipping the phone into the holster only works in one direction where the indent is located. Considering that there are no other heavy duty cases/holsters that I could locate this is a cost effecient choice.

Case fits well and is easy to put together. It provides great protection from spills and impacts. Screen protector isn't as sensitive as the Otterbox I had for my previous phone. Sometimes I have to hit the screen multiple times when typing.

Bought this case for my son it is working great so far. Case is a bit heavy and big but it completely incases the phone comes with screen protector. Son went paintballing with it and it came back with no cracks! It also has a lip that protects the edge glass of the phone. This case is great value.

Though it adds quite a bit of bulk and takes away from the aesthetics of the GS7 Edge, which is understandable, it makes the phone virtually indestructible...and the fit could not be better.

This was an absolute MUST for my teenager who has a habit of being clumsy with her phone. I got her an s7 edge for her birthday and needed something that really worked! I paid the extra money for the extra piece of mind & she loves it. I'm no longer worried about her breaking her new phone.

Overall this product is good for protection. It's kind of bulky but I'll take that over having a damaged phone. One thing that I also notice and don't like is that it leaves air bubbles on your screen which makes it looks tacky.

We purchased this case so our kids could use an older S7 Edge for taking pictures on a recent trip. The case fit perfectly and performed very well throughout the trip. Actually mounting the case to the phone take a few minutes, so this is not something to just slip on and off, but the process is not difficult. Ports are protected while remaining reasonably easy to access. The case also comes with a hard plastic belt holster attachment. The ability to use it with and without the attachment is a plus. Overall, while not the cheapest or sleakest case, this Otterbox is likely to do an exemplary job defending your device and taking the stress out of providing modern fragile devices to kids (or the resident butter fingers).

I purchased this case for my wife since she is a total goof on dropping her phones. We both got the Galaxy S7 Edge and it seems this case is the ONLY CASE available for purchase ANYWHERE that gives the full proper protection this phone deserves! It is not as bulky as we thought it might be... very good case!

Good quality. Completely encloses phone. The only trouble I am finding is that is that the screen protection is thick and rests above the screen on the phone just enough to where input while typing especially around the edges doesn't take. Takes some getting use to since it's not as sensitive as screen alone or with thin stand alone screen protectors. Other than that seems to be a great case and really happy with it. If you have never used this kind of product/brand; Make sure to watch a how to video on removing the rubber outter case as the instructions that come with it are very misleading and hard to follow.

I love the Otterbox cases. I have dropped my phone on several occasions and the Otter box defender case has always protected my phone from breaks and cracked screens. I highly recommend Otterbox. Best Buy even matched the online price, when I purchased it. Awesome! Thanks Best Buy.

I like that it has 360 protection. Separate cover for front and back. Has another 3rd layer on top as well. Only issue is weight and bulk. Screen response is fine, although minor sensitivity issues.

This phone case is great! I've never been a fan of otter boxes due to the bulky character and this one is no different. It's huge! However...if you can get past that I believe that it is the best protection for your Samsung S7 Edge. The reason being: It has a thin plastic screen protector built right in to the case. The reason this is significant on this model is because when paired with a nice tempered glass protective screen...most cases you put on it will peel it up due to the curve of the screen and the way MOST cases fit. There are other alternatives but if you are looking for protection then this case is the one for you. Only other downside is that the protective plastic screen on it is sometimes temper-mental when sensing your finger.

Case offers the best protection for the S7 Edge thst I have seen. It does add quite a bit of bulk to this otherwise slim phone, but its worth it. The built in screen protector sometimes makes it difficult to type .
