I bought this for my wife because my young Sons both like looking at her phone and playing games on occasion. They kept dropping her phone and banging it up. Since getting this case we no longer have to worry about busted screens, scuffed corners, nothing.

It will definitely keep my phone from breaking the screen again like I did without a cover on it the only drawback I see is the screen protector is so thick that I really have to hit the screen when typing to not skip letters or words outside of that it's a great heavy-duty product for the edges and back

Love this case. Screen protection and all over phone protection in one case. Not bulky. Phone still fits in my pocket with the case on. Easy to take apart to clean.

The case and clip seem tough and protect the phone well. This case does limit the phones capabilities. The edge features are hard to use due to the edge of the case coming over the screen a little. Overall a good buy, but my biggest issue is the built in screen protector that the defender comes with seriously affectso the screen sensitivity. My wife and I both have the same thing and both struggle with this. Swiping is a chore, especially with the pull down notification tab and the keyboard is always a pain too. This seems to be the only rugged case available for this phone and only comes in black so if you want a tough case for the s7 edge this is pretty much the only option.

I got this case because I am hard on my phone cases. This one has held up for quite some time and no cracks or scratches on my phone. I would recommend this case to anyone who has a Samsung S7 Edge, it even protects to side of the screen.

This phone case from otterbox comes with a belt clip. This belt clip is optional. I elected not to use that part of it. The phone case itself is excellent. Non slip grip to it so that it doesn't slide out of your hand. Great product.

This OtterBox Defender smartphone case is exactly what I wanted and does everything it says that it does. Frees up my pockets by clipping to my belt, provides reliable protection while still having a clear screen, and is not bulky.

My main interest in a cover is protecting it from falls and spills---this covers (pun intended) both of my interests extremely well. I have two grandchildren under 10, and kids being kids sometimes when they're playing with phone it can fall off a table or have soda spilled on it. This cover is designed to deal with such things. When I took the cover off I was surprised how much girth was added to phone from cover, but no matter I think this is a great cover, especially if you or those around you may be prone to being clumsy. I would buy this cover again.

So, in keeping with previous generations of the Otterbox Defender, this case is a bit bulky, but for all that it is also basically the best protection I've ever had on a phone. With that in mind there are a couple of drawbacks: First, the case reduces touch accuracy by a bit, making the edges of the screen a touchy - no pun intended - prospect. Second, the built in screen protector collects dust between itself and the screen, meaning that disassembling it to clean is something you'll have to do (or be comfortable with a dusty screen) Overall, it is a good case, and worth the investment for top shelf mobile protection.

If you pay retail for an unlocked, no carrier bloatware phone and you tend to drop things, you definitely want to protect your investment. The Otterbox Defender not perfect, but it is very good choice. Having had a Defender on my S5 for several years, it was my first choice to protect my S7 Edge. The Defender affords protection for the phone body as well as the screen (no separate screen protector needed), and it fits very well. Importantly, it is designed to nicely accommodate the curved screen on the S7 Edge.. As to performance, I have already dropped the phone several times on hard surfaces, and it has worked like a charm. I saw someone posted that you have to remove the phone from the clip to access the charging port; however, nearly all of my charging is done in the clip. No access issue at all. On the downside: It is bulky when in the carrying case, but the trade off is the level of protection. Though the belt clip on the case appears to be just like the one on my S5 case, I find that this one tends to come loose more when bumped, which has caused some of my phone drops. On one of these occasions, the phone took a double hit; however, to the case's credit, the phone apparently was not hurt. Lastly, accessing buttons on the edge of the Edge screen is a bit of a challenge on occasion. Bottom line: In spite of the downside items, I would buy the Defender again, and I would surely recommend it to a friend. Were it possible to do so, I would have rated it a 4.5.

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge and I wanted to get the best protection for it. Looked no further than this Otterbox case. I have used them in the past, and they have never let me down. Highly recommend this case.

Fits well and offers good protection without becoming overly bulky. Also has screen protector which is what I really wanted.

I had the Otterbox Defender case for a previous phone so buying it for the S7 Edge was a no brained. In my opinion it's the best protective case you're going to find for your phone. Sure it's a little pricey but worth it. The only drawback I have is the clear screen protector of the case. It takes alittle getting used when texting and utilizing the drop down menu. It just involves using a couple extra swipes or pressing harder when texting. Other than that I'm extremely happy with the case.

Otterbox is improving, case is slightly slimmer, less bulky than previous cases I've used on a multitude of different phones. The cutouts for the forward-facing camera and sensors aligned perfectly. I with there was a way to get a better seal on these as dust still manages to get under the built-in screen protector. You cannot swipe your finger on the fingerprint scanner/home button with this case. I wish you could also replace the built-in screen protector because after a few weeks of use and being placed in my pocket, it gets scratched.... it makes it hard to see through.

My recent purchase from Best Buy was a Great Buy! This case protects my smartphone under some of the most extreme conditions that can cause normal wear and tear. It's also a good dust and dirt shield.

This is my 3rd Otterbox . With each new phone I get a new Otterbox. They did not have one at Tmobile where I got my phone so it was obvious my next stop was Best Buy I have knocked my old phone off the counter numerous times at work never had as much as a scratch on the phone. I have seen numerous people with cracked screens because they wanted something cheap. You get what you pay for. Make it easy on yourself and look at the directions on the package on how to open.

It's an OtterBox. It works! It was at a great sale price, and two days after I bought it, it saved my phone when it hit the pavement. So glad I bought the "real thing" and not a cheap cover!

I purchased this case because my husband wanted me to get something that would protect the screen and if I dropped it. The case is great and I love the screen protector. It is a bit bulky but best case for protecting the phone.

This is the second Otterbox case I've purchased. I bought a Defender for my GS III and it is still protecting the phone that I have passed on to my wife. I bought this new one for my Galaxy 7 Edge and I really like its rubberized surround and the included screen protection. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that the screen protector does make the screen less sensitive. The Galaxy 7 does have a sensitivity boost feature, which I have employed, so I'd rather have more protection and put up with a little less sensitivity.

The OtterBox is one of the best cases that you can buy for your money, it will protect your phone when dropped. I will definitely buy another OtterBox if I decide to buy another phone.
