I only use Otterbox protectors, I can say I have only ever broken 1 out of 11 phones I've owned using an Otterbox and that was when it was crushed with enough force to crush a car. I was actually surprised the phone still worked at all.

This case has done it's job. I am known for shattering phones and I have dropped it face down, flat on its back, and on its corners in this case on surfaces such as concrete and linoleum. The only issue I have is that the button cover on the right side is too loose so it makes it hard to hit the button.

I bought this for my son because he drops his phone quite a bit. I'm confident that his phone is very well protected now. One thing I don't like, but not a huge deal, is the plastic cover that goes over the screen is somehow getting a little bit of dust under it.

many other cases interfere with the speaker and functionality of the device. this case does not cause loss of sound, protects the phone and looks good too.

Otter continues its consistency. Protects the phone from all types of mishaps and keeps its safe. would recommend it to anyone shopping for a solid case.

Have always used Otter Box's on my phones and this one is no different. Helps keep your phone protects from the everyday drops ,bumps and spills. If you are accident prone like me go with this case. You will not be let down.

I love the product because of the protection it provides for my Samsung S5. However the design of the product causes an interference with vocal clarity. Sometimes I have to take off the back cover so that the caller can hear me more clearly.

Bought this phone when I bought my S5 and it protected my case great. I love how the screen falls beneath the top in case you ever dropped it. Looks great as well.

Works well very sturdy get one for all your cell phones to protect the screen. I would pay the money for it . It is worth it and cheaper than replacing a screen.

I bought this case because I needed a super impact-resistance case. I have been know to accidentally drop my phone off of balconies, onto concrete, in the toilet, everywhere, and have not had one scratch or ding. The only thing I would change is the built-in screen protector. It gets nasty with fingerprints very easily, and is not nearly as thin and responsive as one you install separately. All in all a great case though.

I have always used some sort of protective case on all of my phones (previously used Otter, Life Proof, and Mophie). My experience with the otter box for the S5 has defiantly been the worst. It certainly does was it should and provides ample protection for my phone, but that protection comes at a cost. The case limits multiple features of the phone. The most annoying is that it limits my ability properly select text, the raised edges around the screen get in the way when trying to select text. These same raised edges also prevent using the bio-metric fingerprint reader, this is not as big of a deal since I have the Gear 2 Neo which allows me to not have to enter a password when the watch is in range of the phone. The last feature that I have found that it limits is the heart rate monitor on the back of the phone, again not that big of a deal when using the Gear since it has that feature as well. Overall 2 of the 3 features limited by this case are replaced by my ability to do them on my Gear, but if I didn't have a Gear this case would definitely had been returned the day after I bought it.

I have the galaxy s5 rugged and it said the case would fit that phone. It doesn't even come close.I will just throw it away and go to the store and make sure it the new fits the phone before I leave.

Nice rugged case for work. Not the most pocket friendly but will work. Like that it's not as thick as previous generations of the defender series.

I have had my phone in a protection case from the day I bought it! (Life Proof) I bought this otter box about a month ago & wish I had not. Dropped my phone today & it shattered the bottom of my screen. Called otter box & they said there was nothing they could do about my phone. If you advertise protection from falls & on that chance someones phone falls & it shatters isn't that false advertising? To say the least I'm overly upset concidering my phone didn't even have a scratch on it. I will never invest in an otter box again.
