Wouldn't go without it. Hard to get off but worth it for the protection it offers.

Although a bit heavy and bulky, it provides great protection to the iPad. I only wish I had gotten one BEFORE I dropped the iPad and shattered the glass.

bought this for my nephew for Christmas to replace the case that was on it when he got it... He absolutely Loves It!!! Being a normal teenager he isn't the gentlest when it comes to his things, so the Ruggedized case is perfect for him!!!

My son's high school requires iPads for classes, assignments and textbooks. Unlike most of his classmates, the cost of his new iPad4 with 32GB was protected by an Otterbox. Last week another student accidentally knocked her iPad and my son's off a desk on to a slab floor. Her iPad shattered while his bounced. He was able to continue his work in that class and all day while she was without an iPad for four days. No insurance policy can pay for the class time or educational opportunities lost in those 4 days. Every student's iPad should have an Otterbox!

Needed a new protective case for my iPad 2 that wasn't quit so bulky as the Griffin. Got a great deal on this through Best Buy. Only problem is that its the same case as my wives iPad Air and they look the same other than the size.

I purchased this item to replace the survivor case I had on my Ipad. Great protection. The built in stand is a nice feature as well.

The case is soft and sturdy on the outside. And will protect your Device.

We had one of these covers prior to me getting this one, but it finally cracked after my 2yr old started chewing on it. We the decided to buy one of those Survier covers, that was all rubber, but that only lasted about 3 months. Just wasn't water proof enough and started getting milk stains on the inside. So we ended up buying this cover to make sure the iPad lasts.

I definitely believe that the case will protect the iPad from blunt force/impact. However, it does add significant weight to the device. And, while it does protect the screen from impact, dust is able to get into the case between the screen and the screen cover; unfortunately, it is difficult to open the case to clean out the dust particles. The dust is annoying if you watch movies/videos on the iPad.

Love this! It's super durable! My 1 year old can toss it around and nothing chips or cracks!

The otterbox is a great product but when you ask the person helping you if that was the correct protection case for the new IPad you purchased with it and they say yes when it's not... It's a hassle trying to return it when it was a gift and you don't live near them to get it exchanged.
