The Otterbox Defender series is just what every tablet owning family needs to protect their tablet investment. After replacing our iPad TWICE due to drops, this case has more than paid for itself with protection! If you have young ones that use your iPad, this is what you need to protect it from accidental drops and overall rough play. Best investment ever!

I would highly recommend the Otter for anyone who has children or who places it in their purse. I had a parent step on my 1st IPad and it cracked the cover

We originally had a portfolio type of case for our iPad. Our 2 year old toddler became very interested in what we were using the iPad for. We downloaded a few learning apps for him and after a few drops we decided on a Otterbox based on further review. Overall happy with the purchase.

My 5 year old can destroy anything in about three minutes (his nickname is Henry the hurricane). We've had this on the iPad (after three cracks in the screen all caused by the hurricane) now for about two months. Not only can he not remove it, it covers the old cracks well and has kept it from further harm. The touch screen is still very responsive

Great protection for the I pad easy to install would recommend

This is a high quality case. It is good for a rough environment where iPad may drop or bounce around(flying in my case). I gave 4 stars due to the attached screen protector being actually glued on. Having an option for the screen protector would be nice, but I was not willing to sacrifice screen responsiveness to use this protector. Removing it was a pain, as the glue holding it stayed on the case and needed to be scraped off. Also a little pricy for a basic case, but it seems like it will last a long time.

Works well. I'm actually using it to mount on wall. The outer case I screw to wall and then I can pop the iPad in and out. :)

I purchased this to put on my twin 8 year old grandsons iPad2 that they received for Christmas. It has been stepped on, dropped and slid across the floor to each other and the iPad has survived! I call that great protection! Well worth the money. Use an Otterbox for my iPhone and love it. Has protected my phone from some falls, no damage.

Great protection for IPAD although it is a little pricey

Have kids so this putter box cover is what we need. Actually was less than putter box phone covers and IPad screen cover.

Good Buy! Bought as a gift and the person who we bought it for enjoyed it and was happy with the quality of the item.

Bought these for my kids' iPad minis, so when my mother was looking for a new case to replace an older damaged one, I talked her into this one. We requested assistance for her since she was picking it up at the store by herself & the Best Buy Customer Service Rep put it on for her. She is very happy with the cover since it gives her easy quick access to the screen that her previous covers did not. The only problem is it is rather heavy, but the protection is worth it.

We've purchased these before and love them very much. My only complaint is that the cover that can pop on the back while you are using it...only 3 of the 4 sides "clicks" in well so make sure yours works perfect!
