Solid material and handy, well designed, robust design

This is advertised that’ll it use wireless charging and it’s hit or miss. I return because the wireless charging is not dependable and the case was to expensive

Nice colors. The pop came off 2 x’s when I first bought it. I never had a pop socket so maybe it was me. This one doesn’t prop up too well.

It’s a sturdy case but the pop socket doesn’t hold up the phone right, it’s easily tipped over or takes a couple of times to stand it up on the socket

The case held up well and avoided and damage when the phone was dropped, but it did show signs of wear very easily.

I have small hands so this works great for me. However, if you do not, I would test the amount of space that is available to place your hand.

It’s a lightweight case with a pop socket, but that’s it. If you are looking for more protection for your phone, I wouldn’t recommend this

I've always appreciated the convenience of Pop Sockets, but I don't like the fact that they stick up while collapsed, making it difficult to use the phone while laying down without it rocking. enter the Otter + Pop case. It has a built-in base to make it easy to switch out sockets if you want (just push down and twist t remove) and a cut-out so the Pop lays flush with the back when collapsed. The only issue is that it still sticks out just enough to make it unstable, but not as bad as with a Pop on a naked phone. Otherwise the case is perfect. Not too thick, but extremely solid and protective as I've come to expect from Otterbox.

Going to return. Wanted something that would allow the phone to set more upright on its side.

Beautiful and durable... unfortunately pop socket is positioned too much “in the center” of the rear of the case, making it impossible for my ‘thumb’ to reach the bottom of the phone to swipe up (when holding phone with pop socket between index and middle fingers obviously)... I have average size hands, and fighting to reach the bottom of the phone throughout two days since purchasing case, has given me a sore thumb joint form overextending frequently... Maybe if you have monster hands, or a smaller phone, this case would be pretty good, but otherwise, this design is destined to fail, pop socket should be positioned lower!

The rubber on the sides and back of the case are slick.

No expensive phone such as the Apple iPhone XS Max should need a case. What is the point of paying so much for technology AND design when it can be shattered so easily? Unfortunately, that is life and the only thing you can do other than not using your phone and keeping it in a glass box so you can admire it at a distance is to use a good case that will protect it and hopefully not make it look like a $10 device. Here comes the OtterBox case to the rescue. It does a good job of protecting the body although you still need some protection for the screen. It would not win any beauty contest but it looks good. It is not bulky or heavy. To me, the most interesting thing is the PopGrid. Until I tested this case, I never thought I would consider one of those. I now agree that they are useful but I do not need bulk to my pocket. This OtterBox case makes it almost disappear when not in use. I genuinely like it. One of the other reasons I do not like phone cases is because many of them get in the way of chargers, be it wired or wireless. Since I now use only wireless chargers, if the case forces me remove it, I am not interested. The good news is that this case worked with all my chargers at home. I was surprised and pleased. Unfortunately, it did not work with the one in my car, which is a wireless charger that did not cost a lot of money but is the only that does not fall off the vent. Now, when I am commuting or traveling, I have to use a wired charger. I do not know whom to blame for this. Still, I am rating it with five stars because it still fits the charger nicely and because of its overall design. I just hope it lasts a long time.

I had been resistant to OtterBox cases in the past, although I know that their quality is second to none. The cases have always been thick and I felt that they were bulky. This Symmetry case is not bulky at all and fits the phone very well. It is also very protective and has a slim profile. The great advantage of this case is the pop out knob on the back of it. I see people having the knob on their phones, but it's permanently present. This one pops out and then back in, making it handy for phone holders in the car. Better yet, it works in wireless charging cradles. It's the best of both worlds. OtterBox gives a second knob to change the color up a bit as well. I prefer the black on black, but there is a white/marble button included as well. Changing the knob is easy and takes just seconds to change. You will want a descent quality wireless charger, as this is not extremely thin. My better charger works great, but my lesser quality charger will not make it through the case. That's more on the charger though. It works very well with my better ones. Great design, OtterBox! This one is a keeper!

I have been using this case for little over a week and it has been great so far. This is my second Otterbox case. I had a regular symmetry case before this but never had a pop socket attached to any of my cases. When I saw this one, I immediately thought of giving it a try. It's not bad. The only problem that I find is the location of pop socket. In my opinion, it could have been better if it was a tad higher than it is. If you look closely, the pop socket is not exactly in the center vertically. It's offset a bit (down). But that is my personal need. It may be okay for other people. Stating the obvious but the pop socket does make this case a tad heavier and bulkier. If you wear skinny or even slim pants, it's very much visible and also makes you uncomfortable while sitting. So do consider this before making the purchase. Otterbox did make a dip in the back of the case to make pop socket sit in but it still sticks out a bit even when it's closed and is not flat. The pop socket does help you to have a firm hold of your phone and also acts as a stand while you watch videos on your phone. This is a great feature as you don't need to have something in the back for support. It came with an extra pop socket (white color) that you can use by removing the already installed one. I cannot comment on the safety of the phone with this case as I haven't dropped my phone yet (luckily) but I hope this will live up to the expectation that otterbox is known for. As far as the wireless charging is concerned, I've only tried it once. It didn't have any problem in charging but the phone/case was a bit hot from back. Now I'm not sure if the charger was having hard time charing the phone because of the case or what but that's what I noticed. Other than that, there was no reduction in charging speed. Overall, this is a good case with an add-on feature which is nice to have for securely grabbing your phone and also using it as a kickstand. Price wise, this is not very expensive considering how much the otterbox cases usually cost. I would definitely recommend this.

The Otter + Pop Symmetry Series case for iPhone Xs Max is a well-constructed, versatile product. As you'd expect, the Otterbox case is solid, fit's perfect, and feels light yet very protective. The Pop feature is definitely a matter of personal preference. My hand is not particularly large, but I found the fit too snug to actually use. When using the pop-out as a stand for viewing videos, I had trouble keeping it from falling over. It was easy to swap out pop-outs for a change of decor and, as mentioned above, the case itself is excellent. Although I have to pay more attention when placing the phone on my wireless charging pad, it does continue to charge my phone with the case on. For those looking for a solid case with the Pop feature, this is the one. Just be sure the Pop feature is right for you and your intended use.

This is a beautiful case, however it does not offer any screen protection. Also the pop-socket does not allow for stability when propping the phone up

I bought my son this and the sides starting peeling if that makes sense. It isn’t worth the money.
