Easily please with this case, I had my iPhone Xs Max about six months before my fourth of fifth drop proved that it could crack. So I had my phone fixed and I have been hoping for something with a flatter face. I have refused to add a bulky case to my sleek phone. I'm not so bummed now because Otter has a great track record and it doesn't make my phone heavier. The Pop Grip also has a pro, it sits flush against the case when not in use. So basically you won't have a lopsided phone when laying on its back. I've see people with pop grips and to me it looks tacky but this one sits flat on the back of the phone and when I want to pull it out I can. Now, I am not saying I'm going to purposely drop my phone because I have learned but I feel more confident the affected area/back of my phone is more secure now. Oh and I am a guy so any phone cases can create bulk in my pockets but this one keeps the profile slim which I liked. Definitely a good add to my phone!

Had my Xs Max for a year with a standard otter box symmetry case on it with no issues whatsoever. Put the otter box pop symmetry case on less than two weeks ago and have a cracked back. I believe the issue is cause by the raised hump inside the case but I can’t be sure. Love the standard otter box cases but the pop symmetry case just cost me a small fortune!

This case is very protective and looks decent. It is a bit clunky in its size but so is the phone so in order to provide protection, I’m okay with the added extra plastic. You can easily customize the socket on back with other options that are available with a quick twist and click. The case and socket combo makes it good for trips because it has a built in stand and can hold your phone up for entertainment while you travel like on a plane, train etc. I would get this case again.

Legendary OtterBox case with a built-in PopSocket. That's about all to say but it's really nice that it hides away inside the case without adding anything to the outside. It also doesn't really add much to the overall thickness of the case either. The case itself has plenty of grip but I did not test it's drop protection ;) Buttons were all usable with the case as well. Great little case!

This is a great case! I’ve had a pop socket before and I enjoyed it but I didn’t like how it always caught on my pockets. This case has the pop socket sitting flush with the case so when you have it pushed in it doesn’t catch on anything. Mine is black on black, simple and classic combination. Otter box has a great reputation and this case is built with quality just like the rest of them.

It’s not that it does not work, the prop just pops out, if you text to hard it collapses, other than popping out it is not adjustable.

It literally has already broken within 2 months of having it, super upset that a product this expensive broke so soon.

This a quality case that finally allows wireless charging with a PopSocket. The case is slim but provides adequate protection without adding bulk. The PopSocket sits almost flush when its collapsed and the case is easy to position on my wireless charger to get my phone charging. After you swap the PopSocket once or twice its easy to get the hang of it. I’m looking forward to buying a few more designs to change the look of my phone every now and then. The speaker cutouts on the bottom of the case are perfect allowing the speakers to get your sound out and the lightning cutout is large enough to connect a cable with room to spare. The only thing I wish was different on this case is I wish some of the rubber molding extended to the back side of the case so it wouldn’t slide across smooth surfaces. If you love PopSockets and want wireless charging, this case is for you!

I’m a big fan of PopSockets and Otterbox. I have an iPhone XS Max which can get a little heavy depending upon the case. The combination of the two makes for a sleek, super lightweight, non bulky case that I recommend to everyone. I feel that my phone is very protected but I can also use a wireless charger and fit it into the car phone mount with ease. It honestly barely feels like you have a case on your phone without the sticky residue left behind from some sockets. My only issue is with the stand alone PopSockets you get to choose the placement that works for you of course with this case it’s already in a predetermined location and it sits lower on the case not really in the middle and it throws it off balance at times when you rotate the case to watch movies etc. Despite the placement not being quite to my personal liking still 5 stars for sure.

I've been using this on my iPhone XS Max, and compared to my regular Otterbox case that I purchased, this is definitely more sleek, a bit thinner, and the PopGrip is a game changer. It's nice extra support to have while holding your phone, and it's nice when having it stand sideways, but doesn't work too well if trying to stand it upright. I like how the lightning port at the bottom is opened compared to other Otterbox cases where it's enclosed--it's less of a hassle to deal with. I've unfortunately dropped my phone twice now with this case on, but my phone is scratch and crack free--it does the job. If you want the PopGrip feature embedded into the case, this is perfect.

I know several people that have pop sockets on their phones but my issue has always been when the pop socket is closed there is a giant bump on the back. I was excited to try out this otterbox case because they designed it with the pop socket in mind and they obviously know about the issue that its not flat when the pop socket is closed. Ultimately I think otterbox has the right idea, I just wished they executed it better. I have a couple of issues with the design they chose to do, my first issue is that even though they made a spot for the pop socket to fit into, when the pop socket is closed it is still not flat, there is a small amount of it that sticks out, and when I am sitting down and need to put my phone back into my pocket I have had some times where it gets caught on my pants as I try to put into my pocket. One unintended consequence of indenting the case for the pop socket is now there is less space from the Popsocket to the case, So i can barely get my fingers around to to help me hold the phone better. If they were able to make a little longer Popsocket this would help. I want to like this case and I like parts of it, I like the idea of it. I think with a couple of fixes this could be a great case for a phone, but right now its just ok.

This case is very light. The plastic doesn’t feel like it offers much protection. I like the idea of the built in pop socket. The edges are curved, which should provide additional protection against drops. Wish there were more colors .

Case was not quite what I was expecting from Otterbox. The product seems like very thin plastic. It is a combination of plastic and rubber. Though it’s packaging says it is not slippery I found I to be so. This version does not provide any protection for the screen whatsoever. The pop socket feature sounds appealing. It does pop out and help give a grip to the phone. It is also supposed to function as a stand. I found that my phone topple over. The case does allow Qi technology to charge the phone. Overall for the money I would venture for a different style of case unless you were looking to pay a high price for minimal protection. You can change out the designs of the pop socket on back.

I was a bit surprised to see how flimsy and bendy this case is from Otterbox. This incorporates the Pop Cosket concept into the design of the case and I love the idea, however this is not what I would call up to Otterbox standards and is cheap feeling and I would hesitate to add this to my expensive iPhone S Max without feeling insecure this would protect the entire phone. I was surprised Otterbox would even put out a flimsy case like this and I get it, they cant incorporate the Pop Socket into a hard shell case, but I would say then do without it. You would be better off just adding a Popsocket to an existing Otter hard case than going this route.

I purchased this case from Best Buy in Homewood, Illinois. To start, $60, in my opinion, is a hefty amount to spend on a case but I decide to because I have purchased multiple cases and pop-grips separately. Pop sockets pop grip quality has diminished tremendously so i figured this would be my next best bet. Unfortunately, this has been one of the biggest purchase regrets. The fit seems good, very slim but if we’re being honest, the selling point for this product is the integrated pop-grip. The pop-grip is almost useless; the foundations is recessed witch makes it impossible to get your fingers around the grip making it extremely unsafe to hold as your device could drop at anytime- not to mention that it is highly uncomfortable to have your fingers crushed by the edges of the pop-top while trying squeeze your fingers in between the small space. I have invested in other pop-socket products including the mount which i can no longer use because of the recessed foundation, the case spins around constantly. I can’t understand how you can engineer a product without troubleshooting and testing it on everyday users and its ancillary products. I’m truly disappointed in this case. I understand the importance of having a “near flushed” back on the design of the case but It seems as if otter/pop extended the pop-grip’s extension between 1/8 and 1/3rd of an inch it would, at the very least, solve the issue with holding the case. I wanted to love this product but as technology advances as does protection products for it. I feel otterbox will just overlook this issue and I’ll be stuck with a $60 product that I can’t use. I plan on keeping my Xs Max for a couple years. It’s a shame this product won’t be refined- apple will release a new iPhone and it’ll be swept under the rug along with the plethora of cases that will be marked down tremendously. Close but no cigar.

Worst case I ever owned. I Only had my phone for 2 weeks, it dropped out of my pocket about 2 feet and the entire screen shattered. Definitely not protective for your phone.
