However the unit is not balanced with the cover so if I lay it to the side until it’s over. I am disappointed in this purchase I am keeping it for now because it does shield the phone from damage but not for myBut primary reason a purchase of watching videos with it. There is a lot cheaper covers that do the same

But this one not so much. The main problem is the center of gravity. It is slightly too low. It needs to be directly in the center of the case to work the best. I find it more difficult to hold. Also due to the low center of gravity the phone does not stay in position while in the dashboard cradle. It swings from side to side.

Setting it on the power button side is marginally better but still quite unreliable. I used an OtterPop case on my iPhone XS, had zero issues and loved it—because the stand was centered. If I had any chance of returning this, I would not still own this pointless, garbage kickstand case.

This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. That may help get it to stand a little more easily.
