I have dropped my phone a few times since I purchased this case (3 weeks ago) and no damage can be seen on the phone or the case. The downfall to this case is the do not disturb switch did not work. I had to exchange it with another one. I have read many reviews stating the same issue.

One of the tabs that joins the two halves of the case was initially bent and would not allow the case to close close fully. After messing with it several time I was able to bend the tab into place.

Upon first assembling, it wouldn’t snap together. Never actually sealed properly, the silent switch didn’t work on the case, and the buttons are terribly stiff. Also the case has no grip or anti slip covering so it easily slips from anywhere INCLUDING one’s hands (and I have big hands). Oh, and “the most rugged protective case”? Um no, the phone slipped out of my hand at waist height onto my kitchen floor, and the rear glass of my NEW $1200 iPhone (also a disappointing waste of money) cracked. I’m furious. Where can one claim against the warranty? Total Ripoff

We put our cases through an extensive amount of testing to ensure that they provide the best device protection possible, but unfortunately, every drop or fall is subject to myriad different dynamics and variables, some of which are beyond our control. In the end, we are unable to guarantee that absolutely all exposure to risk is eliminated through the use of our products.
Although our warranty is not transferable to the Apple device itself, as we stated before, our friendly representatives are always happy to replace any damaged cases. Major gripe with the case is if it hits the ground from 3-4ft height it will pop apart. I haven’t had the phone come completely out of the case yet, but you will have to snap it back together.

One of the main selling points for me was the fact that it has a small foam gasket around all the openings including all around the screen. Dust cannot get in, very nice.

It’s a bit pricey but it’s been totally worth it. Easy to remove and clean. Had edge to edge protection while still maintaining an elegant look.
