Well first things first... this is an expansive case. And I only bought it because there was a sale a few days back when you purchased 3 phone accessories. Got this one for myself, the Commuter for the wife and a car mount from iOttie. So let me try to make this cohesive. Pros: *Doesn't look bulky as I expected from an Otterbox case. *Looks nice with its black side and clear back piece. *Seems extremely sturdy. Not going to drop to test it but I feel this can take a few falls. *The bottom speaker channel to make it shoot sound forward is a Godly feature. I hate it always cupping my hand on the bottom of the phone on my S8. Those days are now gone. *The seal seems good. No dust and extra protection from liquids making their way into the phone. CONS: *The back portion is a oily hand nightmare/fingerprint magnet. *The two bottom dust covers for the usb and headphone jack are a nightmare but they are removable without cutting so yeah I did that after having to fool w/ that flap two to three times. *Sure hope you don't have to remove this case for anything. Very hard to get it out. But that is the point of the case. *Now the main con for me is the buttons. It will take some getting used to but they are not easy to press. It takes a good bit of extra force to get them to do their thing. And with the power button being so far up on the s10+ you basically have to re-position your hand anytime you need to lock the phone or press that button from some reason. Overall though. Just wipe the back of the case here and there to keep it not looking like a oil/fingerprint ocean, remove them flaps at the bottom, get used to the mush of the buttons and only get this if you find it on sale. Glad I didn't pay full price thank God.

I have had Otterbox Defenders on my phones the past 5 years and have been very satisfied. Unfortunately with this purchase I'm not. I should have known slimmer is not always better. The added features they describe it as being much better and also 10 more dollars more expensive than the defender series. This case does not come with any kind of screen protector at all, the clear plastic backing is extremely slippery so doesn't allow you to just it it places and it stay secure, and the front is not recessed enough that if the phone falls screen first it would prevent the phone from being shattered as in the defender series. If you really want top notch otterbox cases to protect your phone, go with the defender series and skip this overpriced, overbloated counterpart otterbox tried to put out. Yes this case might be slimmer but what good is a case without a screen protector to prevent scratches on your phone or the proper recession of the screen of the phone with the actual case, causing almost certain screen damage if you happen to drop it and it lands with the screen facing the ground.
