The Otter is sturdy and protective. It gives something to grip and feels secure in handling. The Samsung S5 without protection is one slippery bugger. I don't think it would survive long without something. I would recommend this one. It comes in a variety of colors and is not the most expensive, nor is it the cheapest of cell phone protection. I had an S4 with an Otter. Of course they changed the size so I had to buy a new one.

I purchased this case for my new cell phone. The case is not too bulky and the color is nice too.

Otter Box phone cases are arguably the best cases on the market. The design protects the phone from drops, scratches and dust. The built in screen protector is a real plus as it does a great job and doesn't bubble. I have used Otter Box for my last two phones and highly recommend them.

Other heavy duty cases don't come with a clip, (and for me, I don't use a clip), but my husband works outdoors and the clip is essential. It was nice not to have to buy 2 separate items for 1 need. Also, my husband loves the fact that that he gets heavy duty protection without a bulky feel, and it has a great grip even when his hands are wet.

I have one of these for my phone, and when my wife upgraded her phone, I strongly recommended she get this. Makes the phone easy to see when it gets misplaced around the house (at least twice a day) and protects it from little hands who tend to drop it and spill stuff around it.
