I love the otterbox defender case. I had one for my samsung galaxy s3, so when I purchased my new samsung galaxy s5 cell phone I also purchased a new otterbox defender case. It is a little bulky but I don't mind since it protects my phone so well. I would definitely purchase an otterbox defender case again.

Bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift to replace his older iPhone 4s. He loves it and is very happy!

The box says defender and that's what it does. It envelopes the phone in a cacoon of protection. Against dust, scratches, nicks abs the occasional water splash. Handy features and protective shell keeps phone safe and accessible. Only constructive criticism is that the face should have stronger tempered glass material for greater protection.

It surrounds the phone as it should. All ports are accessible, but the clip that holds the phone in place is difficult to use. Sometimes you are not sure if it is clipped all the way. It is nice that you can clip it in either way, but when placing the phone into the holster, and then trying to get it back out, is difficult. Other than that, I would recommend it for total protection, although I cannot say if it will protect against water, never tried.

Overall case is great, would rather have the back be plastic instead of rubber because it gets dirty easy.

I have a 6 month old and he loves to geab my phone. He puts it in his mouth and drops it on the floor on a regular basis. This case has done a great job protecting my phone from damage.

We didn't even shop around for different cases when we bought our Galaxy S5's. Although the phone is pretty tough, we wanted to protect it. So we went right for the Defender. I've only dropped the phone once, but I'm really not worried about it as the case is so tough. Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

This case definitely works but the clip breaks way to easy. I got it caught on the seat belt and broke off.

Love the camo!! It's last through dropping it several times, even falling from the top of my car.

I've had the Samsung Galaxy S3 and now the S5. My phones have always been in them. When I took the S3 out of the case, it looked just as new ad the S5 I had just purchased. Extremely durable and worth the extra money. I'm an iron worker and always carried my phone with me and it never got damaged!

My husband and I have purchased this case for the past 3 phones we have had. My husband likes it because it has a holster clip for belt. We both like the protection and the screen protector that comes with it. We have dropped our phones and it helped them survive with no damage!! Great choice!

I love this case. I've always had an otterbox defender case to keep my phone in perfect condition no matter what phone I've had. It looks a lot nicer than any other otterbox defender case I've previously had. Easily accessible to the charging port. Can't ask for more in a case of this caliber.

I was appealed by the rating and the styling of this case. I liked the fit until I actually got the phone fully charged and started to use it. The screen protector makes a bubble so when your trying to use a touch screen smart phone you either have to push hard (hand fatigue) or ignore half the key commands because you can't press it correctly 3/4 of the time. Wish I didn't get it at end of day or I would have exchanged it day of.

They really work, but really muffle the sound to hear and also the ringer. It is a trade off.

I'll keep it short n simple. I love my otter box and would not even use these phones with out one. I Love it. They keep my phone completely safe and dry. If your thinking about a case... this is really the best one on the market. P.s. I chose black because it's easier to hide dirt lol. :-)

Great case and lots of colors to choose from. Charging port area could of been made a little better.

I always go with otterbox. Love them will always use them. When i bought my s5 i did not have a case (dont really like cases) but when my s5 started to get scuffed and scratched (no screens luckly) I purchased this otterbox case. The case itself was expensive but its worth every penny.

Bought this for my gf after buying one for my Note 3. These things work, nothing will happen to your phone. They do add a little size but not that bad. Easy to put on and just have to take it off to clean occasionally. I will probably buy one of these for all of my phones from now on.

Love it for standard use, but when it comes to taking advantage of the water resistance/proofing it leaves something to be desired. Anytime I even think about taking my S5 near a pool or spa I REMOVE THE CASE. Because the times I've tried keeping it on, I've ended up with water all over the device. Didn't kill it, but made it impossible to use while soaked. Great case for durability, but unusable underwater and AFTER water.
