The case works very well with the phone. I can use the case minus the clip and it doesn't have any cumbersome feel. I wish the belt clip would have some rotation so the phone would clip horizontally

Works well to help protect the phone was replacing a waterproof version to try and get more sound out of the phone this helped but the phone still has low output volume ..not the cases fault

Never had a problem with otter box cases. I've tried the life proof case for my new s5, did not like. It was hard to hear caller, so I decided to stick with what I know. Otter Box is the greatest!!

It provides great protection but when on belt is sometimes a pain to get out of shell. But that is better than losing it. Would purchase again when compared to others I checked out.

I have had the case for a few months now and have to say it is a quality product. The rubber grip on the case provides for a secure grip but enough slip to remove from a pocket. I have dropped the phone yet so I can't say how well it will hold up. I haven't noticed any disruption with phone reception or call quality. I purchased it because I didn't want to pay around 80-100 bucks on some of the top quality cases. I would recommend this product.

An added layer of protection for bumps and dings. Makes the phone a little more bulky but not too bad.

The built in screen protector cannot be removed and makes the screen hard to read while tilted at certain angles or in different lighting. I don't like the glare/contrast created on the screen by the screen protector. The built in screen protector cannot be removed from the otter box itself.

The Defender is my first OtterBox. After one too many drops, my S4 screen was broken and completely black. I replaced it with an S5 and knew I had to protect it better. I ordered a Trident cover made similarly to the Defender but it didn't compare. You get what you pay for. I would have given 5 stars but I haven't experienced a similar drop to the one that broke my S4 so I'm not 100% sure The Defender will protect against any breakage but I feel more confident with it than any other case I considered. I also bought one in hot pink [from Groupon] for my daughter after replacing the broken screen on my S4.

OtterBox makes the absolute best phone cases. It's a great fit and protects my phone completely!

Returned this case after one day. Far too bulky and heavy for my taste. Rubber ring around the hard shell already had started to loosen by the headphone plug and power port.

I have been getting an Otterbox for all my phones over the past years (iPhone 4, 4s, 5) and now the S5 and i'm never disappointed! Definitely a great case to always have around!

Everything I hoped this product would be. Installation instructions could have been clearer but I found a YouTube video where a user showed how to put the phone in the case.

I love this case! Dropped my phone a few times and never cracked or damaged. My toddler even got a hold of it and still no damage. Definitely buy if I ever change phones again.

Very good at keeping phone dry and safe. It makes the phone very easy and secure to hold onto.

ive had two and they last for a little over a year. drop proof and almost scratch proof but at all cost protects the phone.

Bought my first smart phone & wanted a case to protect it from my hard use + a way to clip the phone to my belt. My son said the new Galaxy S 5 does not need a hard cover do to its sturdy construction but... So far I'm very happy with the case & the belt clip as I don't want to carry the phone in my pocket. Otter Boxes are a little pricey but I used my Best Buy Rewards $$$ to bring the cost down to a reasonable price.

It really is the best protection for phone. Very durable.

I really like this for the protection it gives my phone. I with it weren't so bulky, but for the protection it is worth it. It comes in multiple colors which I really like.
