Open Box Rather Than New

I have used Otterbox for ten years and have had great experiences. However, this case arrived in an open box. The case has no rubber lining, so I think it might be the cheaper Commuter model rather than the Symmetry. The case is entirely hard plastic. I can't return the item because I don't have time to wait at the store. Very disappointed...

The first one cracked within a few months of use as well.

Stay away from!

Number one every time I set it down if it is not a perfectly level surface it was slide off faster than a fat kid on a waterslide. Number 2 it is not protective at all the back cover broke with in two days of having it!

Last week I noticed one of the buttons was gone. I had my previous Otterbox for my old iPhone for six years with no problems. The new one didn't make it a month.
