Having my phone drop onto the concrete below a Disney land ride and droping it into water. They Symmetry case is not the vault (Defender) that I would normally use , but it has all of the essential drop protection. A thirdy party vendor protects my wife's screen while I'm confident in the case providing protection from the other everyday abuse. I also like that the phone color is visible through the clear case.
