My prior Otterbox were all solid in color, so when I decided to try the clear glitter version I was a little concerned about the durability. However, I have found that it is just as durable as the other versions. I love the look and it now I can appreciate the color of phone I choose without the worry of losing the durability and protection.

I have one on my phone and now my daughter has one on her phone too. When I first saw it, I was worried that it was too pretty to really hold up. My phone comes along with me on outdoor adventures including horseback riding, hiking, etc. My phone has survived it all. I recommended it to my daughter, who likes the glitter, knowing that it will hold up well and protect her phone.

I know Otterbox is a top line case, and this one doesn’t have the usual clunky look. It’s more streamlined, but the plastic feels tough enough to withstand my two young boys. I wasn’t looking for glitter, but the cost was significantly less than for the plain clear. I ended up really liking it though because it adds a cute girly touch to the vibrant red.
