We’re sorry that the Symmetry case is falling a tad short in the port cover department. We are a little confused about the plug and head set covers you are talking about. The Symmetry does not have port covers. Perhaps you are talking about our Commuter or Defender case. They both have port covers intended to keep out dirt and dust. Works Great...Bad packaging and store help

That reason alone was the reason for lower score. Otherwise it was a 5 star product.
