Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will first acknowledge that Otterbox has a strong reputation, of course, and rightly so. I have had this case for about two months now and there are many things I like about it. It's not bulky and it seems to help protect the phone. Also easy to slide in & out of front pocket. But the issue I have now been noticing more and more, is truly a design flaw. They have a very nice rubber sleeve for the phone which creates a nice grip. They then cover that with a hard plastic shell. Extra protection. Right? The problem is the hard, slippery plastic shell only allow certain parts of the non-slip rubber to show through. And the most important part of the non-slip in terms of keeping the phone from slipping from your hand is covered by the slippery plastic -- about a 1/3 of the side is slippery right where your hands hold it. While holding the phone I frequently feel it slipping which is annoying. And no, I'm not "holding it wrong." Again, I like the case but don't love it. Wish they would have or maybe some day can fix this. They should have maybe a 1/3 of the amount of plastic on either side where one grips it at most.

Best Case Ive Had!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SO I purchased one of these cases for my old iphone 7 when i got it and i kept that same case with no damage to my phone for two and a half years and now i just upgraded to the iphone 8 and bought a new one. This is the best case to buy for protection if you dont like how the other larger, Bulkier otterboxes feel on your phone like i dont. i give this case a 10/10 in feel and design and a 9/10 in protection because obviously the bigger otterboxes are better for that. :)

I have a protective screen and on the 2nd week of having this case, it had a lot of little scratches. Also, my phone fell from my cabinet to the ground (3 feet) and the corner of my phone cracked. It also makes my phone look very yellow?? Plus the volume and lock buttons are hard to push. The quality of this case is not as good as I expected. It isn’t worth the money.

About a week into the purchase I had sat down and I reached back to grab my phone because it doesn’t fit in my pocket when I sit. When I reached back the phone felled from regular chair height and landed right on the back on the floor. The phone didn’t bounce or anything. When I picked it up the whole back glass was shattered. I was very disappointed in this case’s performance. Do not buy if you are clutzy
