I did not choose this case for the best protection, although I think it will do a good job. It seems to be sturdy and holds my phone very well. My previous case was the Commuter case which served well for 4 years. I just purchased my Rose Gold IPhone 8 Plus and this sparkly clear case looks so pretty on it. I was told the Symmetry was similar to the Commuter but not quite as good for protection. I do take care of my phones so I thought that I would try this one. It is slim and comfortable in the hand. Since it is clear, I’m sure that scratches will show up in time, but for now, I will enjoy it. If you’re rough with your phone and need extra protection, I would recommend the Defender, but I definitely recommend Otterbox. I have used it for years with complete satisfaction.

Bought this for my daughter. She had a k^^^e s***e. And the phone was dropped and the case on the front didn't donuts job. Had tiny crack on the corner it fell.on. I bought this case because of experience with otterbox. She told me the same day it was installed that she dropped her phone and not a single scratch to the screen. I love the way the phone overlaps the screen so there won't be no damage to it. Love otterbox

Upgraded to iPhone 8+ in August. Used silicone slipcase and basic glass screen protector. Good, til it took a bump & glass shattered. After a flawless repair at Apple, I decided on OtterBox after doing research, but wanted a clear case. Searched, couldn’t find one, initially. Happened upon the OB Symmetry almost by accident. SUPER thrilled with this. Clear (to show off my 8 Plus Product(RED), bulletproof, edge and corner shock absorption, sleek, and STILL thin enough to use a Qi wireless charge pad. I WILL find this case again, next time I upgrade, and will buy it in a blink. Great product, great company!

Had to have this clear-ish case to show off my pretty rose gold phone. I really like it! It’s sparkly sort of rubberized and I feel like my phones fairly protected but then I don’t mistreat my phone.

This case is sturdy, and much less bulky than my previous case!

Stylish, slim, durable, affordable, Using on 8 Plus

The clear case doesn't add too much bulk which is a huge plus. The fact that it also offers great protection for my beautiful iPhone 8 Plus is key too. I went with the clear case because I wanted to see my phone still and it is not bad. It is pretty reflective, so if you don't want that in your case, this clear one is not for you. I do like the Symmetry case a lot since it is great low profile case.

I love the fact that this case is slim and clear. I've always used OtterBox to protect my iPhones, But even the slimmest seemed bulky. This one is great. It doesn't cover up the phone so much that you can't see the phone. I purchased the gold iPhone because I liked it. This case let's me still see the gold phone and I feel secure that my phone is protected.

Other clear cases can press on the back of the phone and look weird. This case does not do that. Very sturdy but also semi flexible. Dropped it several times already. Very durable. Small micro scratches have begun to appear after a couple weeks. Overall. I’m impressed.

This is a case that is very simple in design, but is of very nice quality. If you want protection, with clean simple looks, this is the way to go. It was not terribly expensive, and compared to other cases, is much nicer. Fits my iPhone 8Plus perfectly.

Otter box always has a good fit. Only complaint is the back scratches but what won’t in the bottomless pit of my wife’s purse. Phone is protected so that’s what matters.

The case is slim, fits snug, easy on and off, and has protected my phone from a few drops so far. OtterBox makes great products and this is definitely one of them.

To be honest with you, really don’t want to have my phone in a case. I feel that phone companies strive to create these beautiful phones and then most people put them in cases. I’m one of them! I don’t really want to but with the prices of phones these days it’s almost unrealistic unless you have some insurance plan which are also pricey. This leads me to the case. There are a lot of cases to choose from. The ones that protect the best are bulky and unsightly. The ones that look good barely protects your high priced pocket computer. That’s why I bought the OtterBox sysmmetry case. I felt like it was a good blend of aesthetics without being too bulky! It hugs my iPhone really well! I would definitely get another one for my next phone!

I purchased this case for my iPhone 8 Plus in gold, and it compliments it well! Can't go wrong with a stylish case that offers amazing protection for your phone. It fits very snug, so you know that your device won't fall out of the case if dropped. Also, I haven't had any issues with the case yellowing or any other discoloration like some other clear cases I've owned previously. All in all, this case is a great buy!

Not too bulky, not too small. Just the perfect protection & fit for the price

I have always purchased OtterBox cases for my phones. This time I decided to go with a clear case to let the beauty of the new iPhone 8 Plus show. Read reviews of various cases and this was the only one that people didn't complain about the case turning yellow with time. Haven't had it long enough to determine for myself, but am very satisfied with the fit and appearance.

Protection without the bulk. Otterbox quality still leads the competition. Will it protect against a car running over your phone? NO, but most shoes wouldn't protect your feet either.. Will it protect against falling off a cruise ship and having to swim to the nearest island? Depends on whether or not you can swim. Chances are you won't have coverage anyway. Will it protect against a fall to the bottom of the Grand Canyon? Depends on whether or not anything slows down the rapid descent. You get the meaning. Lightweight case that provides the protection against normal bumps and wear. That's why I purchased this particular product.

I bought this case for my iPhone 8 plus. I chose this case because it’s sleek and stylish. And because I had an otter box for my previous phone. After two weeks of owning it I dropped the phone on the sidewalk. The iPhone was completely unscathed and the case was unscathed. Not a scratch.

This is a great case in the Otterbox line-up. It's slim but still provides good protection. It fits very well on the phone and doesn't bulge in any spots in your pocket. The only downside is the clear finish shows fingerprints and smudges pretty easily.
