As such, it was never comfortable when talking on the phone. Ended up returning the item and going with the Speck clear case, which has been great.

We are sorry that the Symmetry case was a bit too slippery for your comfort level and that the control buttons were being stubborn. The difficult buttons are not normal and we would have been happy to have assisted with that dilemma.
We certainly weren’t out to cause any slick situations, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc. Perhaps you would be more interested in our Defender case as it does have a silicone slipcover on the outside that may offer a better grip. Could be more protective, but you sacrifice that for a more slim design. If you want the ultimate protection buy the defender series, but for me that is way too bulky. Also this is perhaps too pricey, but its Otterbox which is like as name brand of a case as it gets in the market. Premium product.
