For the wife, not terribly bulky, and still lets the color of the XR show through. A little hard to get in, but will not be coming off anytime soon.

High quality and cute otterbox. It was a little difficult to get on, but it hugs the phone tightly and keeps it safe!

What do we want in a phone case? First, something that will protect our device and second, a case that isn't particularly bulky. This case is a terrific compromise in that it won't be as slim as no case at all or some minimalist kind of thing, and it won't survive a drop from an airplane. The edges are above the screen so a typical drop is unlikely to break the screen and this is not even remotely close to the combat safe boxes that Otter also produces. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it highly.

Love it! It’s such a happy color (yellow), and does just the job (I’ve dropped my phone I don’t know how many times!).

The case is protective and incredibly sturdy. However, it's also bulky and there's a good chance it's never coming off the phone. I guess you lose a little flexibility for better protection... And it's kind of expensive for a plastic case.
