This is a great case that holds up well, particularly to the hazards of a construction job site. Overall I recommend for any lady that likes a neat looking phone case and drops her phone often. One important note - absolutely buy a screen protector when you buy this case, to go over the front of the iPhone. It's a must!

Otterbox promptly addressed the issue and remedied. Their customer service and product warranty is top notch. There are quite a few choices out there for cases, including too many by Otterbox. They have the phone case solution that simply works. The case isn't too grippy and also not too slippery. Personal preference are their 'slimmer' cases.

Protects phone but rubber turns yellow

Only issue is that the rubber part of the case turned yellow/dingy after having it for only 2 months.

Beautiful but scratches too easily
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always purchased Otterbox cases to protect my very expensive investments in Apple phones but I am very disappointed in my most recent purchase. I have owned this case for a whole 2 days and it is scratched beyond belief! It is carried in a super soft lined pouch in my LV purse and sits on my desk for 8 hours a day. How is this possible? While it protects my phone as advertised, for the price demanded it should hold up much better aesthetically. Not a happy camper!

Case is too narrow and stiff, unable to fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the Otterbox Symmetry iPhone XR case on 10/25 online. Picked it up later at the local Best Buy store the same today. Note that the iPhone XR release date is 10/26. After picking up iPhone XR from Apple Store on 10/26, could not fit the phone within the case. For some reason, the case is too stiff and narrow for me to even to be able to insert the phone. Returned it to the store on 10/26. Best Buy customer service rep tried it out and had the same conclusion. Got a much cheaper Insignia clear thinner case, and that one worked fine. (Otterbox probably didn't have the right dimensions for the new phone before they released it.)

This case was intentionally engineered to fit the iPhone XR tightly and securely in order to provide the best device protection possible. Terrible case

I get that it shouldn’t fall off but it really shouldn’t be that hard to take off. I had same case for 7 and it stayed on and wasn’t this hard to take off. Will be getting a new case.
