It doesn't , the screen is unprotected so if it is dropped on its face it will shatter. I've bought better otterboxes, this one is ok if you dont mind buying another phone. Its clear so that you can still see the phones design or color. Also hard to put on, the phone doesn't go on so easy so you have to force it on.

Looks cool and nice brand new but not a very practical case. It was the only case they had in stock for my phone I just bought. Will probably be ordering a different case here pretty soon.
