Bulky Appearance for a Clear Case

I bought the Galaxy S9+ in violet & didn't want to hide the pretty color. The clear OB case would have been perfect except it was too bulky. It didn't fit snug to the phone. It added 1/4" in bulk around the entire phone. It just looked so cheap that I returned it. I replaced it with a tempered glass screen protector & slim black Spek case. There weren't a lot of options since the phone was just released so I'm hoping other clear cases will hit the market soon. An unusual design flaw for Otterbox.
