Material is strong and my phone survived a couple of falls in this case. BUT the case only lasted about 3 months max before it turned yellow and the rubber stretched out and phone started to slide in it. For top brand asking top money case is not worth it.

The case I thought may be slippery but it holds in my hand well and does not slide when I set the phone down. phone cases have to fit the persons life style and this case is good with me. The case is not to thick and its not to thin . Fulfills its purpose.

The OtterBox is clear, which lets the phone show through, but it also provides the protection I want. It also has a good feel on the hand.
