I’m surprised by this case because I always associated OtterBox with those ugly oversized cases. Not this one! It’s doesn’t add too much extra girth. I’d say it’s ever so slightly more narrow than your usual tech21 case and doesn’t add any more depth than any other typical phone case. It’s easy to slip the phone in but won’t let it loose if your phone flies out of your pocket and down the stairs. Grip is nice and, uh, grippy BUT it’s a little strange with the hard shell of the back coming up the border of the phone to the grippy rubber. You’ll get half and half beneath your forefingers and thumb while you wield your phone which might bother you. The cutouts on the bottom for speakers and charging port are VERY sharp rubber edges to the point it makes long term use uncomfortable for my pinky fingers, on which the phone rests while I use my phone. I do have a PopSocket stuck on, which definitely helps for this little problem, but I don’t use the PopSocket all the time and there are many who don’t use PopSockets at all. The hard back is textured but still kinda smooth. Like the wrist rest of a Lenovo ThinkPad. I’m not a fan of that so I slapped a dbrand skin on the back. It doesn’t line up completely, yeah, but it brings some color to the phone case and works well enough for me. Overall, is this phone worth $50? Only time will tell but if this case stands up to my abuse over these next 18 months then I will say YES at the end of it.

I had to contact Otterbox for a replacement 2 weeks after my purchase due to scratches in the case, and I am not a heavy phone user. I will say Otterbox stands behind their products and sent me a replacement case with no problem. Be advised that all fingerprints and scratches will be clearly visible on this clear case. I have always purchased Otterbox phone cases bcuz Otterbox is a great company with phenomenal customer service. Despite the cosmetic issues, the case does offer durable protection.

Side cracked after about a month of use. Will contact company for warranty claim.

I love the sleek design of this case. It fits my phone perfectly and is not too bulky while protecting my phone on all the corners and sides. It is a little more expensive than I had hoped but I was willing to spend the extra money because of the quality.

I purchased this case after upgrading to the IPhone XR. I wanted something that would protect my phone and show off the bright coral color. This case does in fact do that. I have not dropped my phone so I cannot say how protective it is, but I imagine its as protective as other otterbox cases I have had. In general, they are very protective. The only negative thing about this case is that it scratches very easily, and the then you can see the scratches on it.

This a great light weight case for iPhone XR, is a perfect fit and has good protection around the edges. It does not provide a bump around the edge of the screen, so if falling face down might still hit the screen, keep that on mind when selecting this case

I needed a case that would keep my new iPhone protected without making it bulky. It kept my iPhone looking sleek. I have a 3yr old child that loves to grab the iPhone and play games but she tends to drop the phone often. This case has kept the phone from cracking it's screen. I have a screen protector so it doesn't even have a scratch on it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because one hand operation can be a little slippery at times. Very little bulk and great protection make this case a must buy.

The old heavy otterbox protected better but I still like this one better for the lightness and design. It's not as easy to get off to clean the dust from my phone but I still like it.

Transparent case is great. Protection is good,but not as good as the Defender case.It is much less bulky than the Defender and is more easy to put in pocket or purse.

Protects my phone well and I love the glitter. Wish I had read reviews before using it though, as the case starts to yellow/gray after just a short bit of time (~2 weeks). But it’s more important to me to keep my phone protected and the glitter is nice and subtle. Also discovered that my pop socket falls of this case often. My pop socket never came off of my prior case after 2 years, so it’s something to do with the material this case is made of. Something to consider.

I purchased a beautiful red iPhone and wanted to protect it with a cover but didn't want to cover up the beautiful red color. I purchased the clear otterbox symmetry series case for iPhone XR. It fits very snug and the Apple icon and color is visible. The otter box has since received alot of scratches,some quite deep so it's doing it's job, protection for my new phone.

So first off this product is absolutely beautiful! I love how sparkly it looks and it just gives your phone a simple yet nice look. I will say however that it is pretty difficult take off, So much so it feels like you can break the case or damage your phone while attempting to do so. And the last thing is the one I could say was a little disappointed about is that the product is advertised as scratch resistant but within a couple of days of having it I noticed that it already had several scratches so that leads me to believe it’ll be pretty scratched within several months of having it..overall though I would recommend this product to anyone looking into it

Really liked this otter box at first. It’s clear so you can see the beautiful color of my iPhone. Dropped it twice in the last year and it protected my iPhone very well. Not sure what happened but the rubber just seemed to wear out and started cracking. Just bought a sturdier otterbox to replace it.

I prefer a thinner case that allows for wireless charging but still offers some good protection. The Symmetry does exactly that! It offers great protection without the extreme bulk of the Defender or the Defender PRO. A great choice if you need protection but don't want your slim phone to be converted into a tank...

Good product. Had one on my previous phone for one and a half years and protected it against countless drops. I like that you can see the color of your phone through it. It did get a bit discolored/yellow but I guess that’s to be expected after one and a half years of use. I purchased one for my new phone as well.

Awesome case from otter box. I had always planned to vinyl my iPhone, and this case provides protection with the ability to enjoy these designs! Only gripe is that the case shows surface swirls on the back very easily, but if you can tolerate that (I can) then this is an awesome case!

The case is protective and incredibly sturdy. However, it's also bulky and there's a good chance it's never coming off the phone. I guess you lose a little flexibility for better protection... And it's kind of expensive for a plastic case.

I bought this case because of the reputation of the Otterbox. The case provides necessary protection without the bulkiness of the old Otterbox cases. The clear case was great for my iPhone X since it already had a color enhancement.

Highly recommend sitting this case on a windowsill in the sun before installing. Very tight fit, which is good when the phone is in it. Otherwise this case is fine. One of the few cases that is clear and my wife wanted to show off her red Xr.

The case does its job by being a very protective to your phone. I would recommend for that reason. Personally, I just found the case to be too bulky for myself. You may feel different and for that reason I still say that it’s a good buy.
